Singapore has only one type of student visa for Singapore from India called a student Pass. All international and Indian students who are willing to study in Singapore first need to acquire the Student Pass from the Singapore Consulate.
The student pass is the evidence of confirmed enrollment in the academic course and is also the proof of funds to support the student during the education period. The student pass is acceptable in all 34 International humanitarian laws (IHLs) in Singapore.

This student pass depends on the length of the program the applicant intends to attend. You can apply for both short-term and long-term student passes. The short-term Student pass is ideal for diploma courses, generally lasting up to 3 months, and long-term in the case of a Bachelor’s or Master’s program.

Yes, the international student is allowed to work part-time with respect to the rules and regulations stated by the Singapore government. Students are permitted to work for a maximum of 16 hours after obtaining permission from their university’s Liaison/Affairs office. They are allowed to work full-time during the vacation period.
