The Government University’s main intake is in August, and only a few courses have an intake in February. The private educational institutions have multiple intakes (January/February/July/August/September/October/etc.), while the polytechnic institutes only have an April/September intake.

Singapore has only one type of student visa for Singapore from India called a student Pass. All international and Indian students who are willing to study in Singapore first need to acquire the Student Pass from the Singapore Consulate.

The student pass is the evidence of confirmed enrollment in the academic course and is also the proof of funds to support the student during the education period. The student pass is acceptable in all 34 International humanitarian laws (IHLs) in Singapore.

There are two variants of student Pass, which are the following:

1. Student Pass – based on the duration of the program.
