On August 3, 2022, Canada held Express Entry Draw and invited over 2000 candidates to apply for PR. On the basis of the Comprehensive Ranking System, candidates were sent the invitation. Candidates from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were eligible to be invited because there was no specific programme listed for this draw. This draw’s minimum CRS requirement was nine points lower than the one that took place on July 20. In addition, 250 more applicants were invited in this draw than in the one before it, when 1,750 applicants were given an invitation to apply (ITA).

IRCC has also announced that the learning credentials for students who have completed their educational programs online between March 2020 and August 2022 can now use their credentials in their overall CRS score. This will enable them to work while they wait for permanent residency while assisting them in the transition. It’s possible that applicants who are in the Express Entry pool have already gotten a letter from IRCC informing them that their online profile’s education information needs to be updated.
